If you are a camera lover and can’t carry a camera around with you everywhere you go, you should consider getting a smartphone with motion cameras and some smart phone capabilities. And here I’m going to list some the best camera phones for 2013 here and how they work. The smartphones are going to be on different OS so you can choose which one suits your style more, Ranging from the iOS to even Symbian phones which is almost dead now. Last year we wrote a similar article on the top 5 camera phones in the market. That was for 2012 and here I’m listing the best for 2013.
Nokia Lumia 920
This windows mobile phone by Nokia has proven to be one of the best Camera phone out there, when it comes to specs it’s up there with the likes of the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3. This windows OS powered phone comes with a pure view camera that can give you good pictures and high speed video. It comes with a Carl Zeiss lens and claims to offer unbeatable low-light performance with its 8.7 Mega pixel Camera.
Apple iPhone 5
If you wish to enjoy great photography on your smart phone then the apple iPhone 5 is just for you. The apple iPhone 4S was a pretty big deal with its 8 mega pixel camera back in 2012, but the apple 5 has been tweaked greatly to do better what the apple iPhone 4 could do. Even the front camera now shoots photos in vivid HD format, to give you that edge with video calling (if you also do that). Like its predecessor it also comes with an 8 mega pixel camera and a 1080p iSight camera.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2
Although the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 actually looks like pen and paper, the phone is pretty much one of the best camera phones for 2013. Like the iPhone 5 it comes with an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p HD video record, the galaxy Note 2 camera features a BSI sensor, autofocus, LED flash and all the essential hardware for giving you creative images. And like the Samsung Galaxy S3, it has the Best Photo feature; where your smartphone camera snaps up 8 successive shots and recommends the best one based on smiles and the photo focus.
Sony Xperia T
Unlike the other smartphones on the list the Sony Xperia T comes with a 13 mega pixel camera that also snaps great images in HD format. The phone is great for snapping photos in low light environment and still give you that clear digital image, with it you can also record video in 1080p and share effortlessly with friends using NFC features. It was the phone used in the recent 007 movie “Skyfall”, so you should expect something great from it.
Nokia 808 Pureview
Although this phone was actually released last year, it still remains one of the best camera phones for 2013, it comes with a Belle Symbian Os which is pretty much dead. If you are the type that still sticks with the Symbian Os then this phone should be your smartphone. Unlike all smartphones ever it comes with a 41 mega pixel camera with only 38 mega pixel usable and remains one of the best camera phone.
So if you ever want to get a great smartphone to satisfy all your camera needs, you should consider getting one of these smartphones. However if you feel like I’ve left out some other great smartphone, feel free to tell me using the comment box.
